In this case study, we asked Alexander Polster about the outcomes he achieved after introducing timeBuzzer – and what tips he has for you.
Why do you record your time?
I’m self-employed on a part-time basis and work with WordPress. For those projects I track my time. This keeps things fair for both me and my clients.
What has changed for the better since you started using timeBuzzer?
I see timeBuzzer as a kind of logbook, where I can briefly and precisely record what I did, when I did it, and for which project.
I tried a number of time tracking tools in the past, but in my opinion, timeBuzzer (especially in combination with the hardware device ) is by far the best solution. It’s like having a physical “money button” on your desk 😉
What tips do you have for others?
I’ve had a good experience using a three-layer structure, which I adopted right from the start. It’s also great when the whole team uses timeBuzzer — you can see exactly who did what, when, and where.
