In this case study, we spoke with Alisha Schmidt about how she uses timeBuzzer as an freelance recruiter, what has improved for her, and what tips she has for others getting started.
What do you do, and why do you track your time?
Iโm currently self-employed in recruitment. Since I work with different clients and accurate time tracking is important for my recruiting projects, I decided to try timeBuzzer. Iโm impressed by how simple and intuitive time tracking is.
What has improved since using timeBuzzer?
The hardware makes it even easier to start and stop project time. Thanks to the illuminated ring, the buzzer immediately catches your eye and also looks pretty cool on the desk. ๐
I also track tasks that I donโt bill to my clients. This allows me to see which activities are the biggest time wasters and how much time I actually spend on specific tasks.
What tips do you have for others getting started with timeBuzzer?
1. Just get started: Setting up my first project took less than five minutes.
2. Clearly name recurring tasks: This also gives you a suitable service description for invoicing later on.
3. Use the hardware: At first, it might look a bit like a toy, but it makes starting and stopping time tracking incredibly intuitive. I would definitely recommend using it.
